Here is a list of some of the allotment blogs that we have found useful and taken inspiration from.

Lavender and Leeks – Lavender & leeks – 

Katies allotment blog and instagram have been a huge inspiration to us on our allotment journey. She is a very talented and keen grower. She has some great advice and takes amazing photos.

Sean James Cameron – The Horticultural Channel – Sean is a hugely  likable fella and a great wealth of knowledge, who is consistently producing good quality and informative youtube videos and allotment blogs, and who doesnt love Rusty the cat. Its now become a bit of a Sunday tradition of mine, when I finally get the roast in the oven, to pour myself a glass of vino and sit down to Seans Adventures. He also has the best raised beds ive ever seen, dont believe me go check him out.

Real Men Sow – Real men Sow Blog – A really well designed website and regularly updated with good quality allotment blogs posts. Jono also seems to be a talented photographer with a great archive of inspiring posts.

The Unconventional Gardener – The Unconventional Gardener Blog –  This blog is written by Emma Cooper and she knows her stuff. Very well written and beautifully designed blog full of useful information. Emma is also prolific tweeter and always there to offer advice @emmathegardener.

Bill A Gardener – Ulster Allotment Diary – Where do you start with Bill…. He will be the first person to tell you that he is not right in the head. Mad as a bag of frogs, but funny and u can tell hes a good lad. Bill is local to us, and we love what he has done with his allotment in such a short space of time. Good videos and always running competitions.

Richard ChiversSharpen Your Spade – Relative newbie on the allotment blog circuit but we like what we see so far good things to come me thinks ! @spadesharp

Marks AllotmentMarks Allotment –  Mark is a wealth of  knowledge and is always happy to have a bit of banter on twitter and reply and give great advice. I’ve learnt a lot from Marks allotment blog. @MarksAllotment

The Beginners Gardeners Blog –  The Beginners Gardeners Blog – Without wanting to sound obvious this is a great blog for beginners with the added bonus that it focuses on doing things on a budget.
